Studio Shamshiri is a multidisciplinary design firm based in Los Angeles, California. We are driven by experience, narrative, and the belief that thoughtful design can be a means toward living life to its fullest. The studio maintains a perspective that is highly collaborative and driven by responsibility and research – looking towards the future with support from the past. We dive deep into archives, support historical preservation efforts, and apply traditional building methods to construction and furnishings. We believe in collecting vintage and investing in quality.
The studio’s portfolio includes restoration work for homes designed by iconic architects such as A Quincy Jones, Stanford White, Nigel Coates, Rudolph Schindler, Myron Hunt, Buff & Hensman and Andrew Geller, as well as ground-up projects with notable contemporaries including Marmol Radziner and Johnston Marklee.
Since its founding in 2016, Studio Shamshiri has been featured on the AD100 list as well as Elle Décor’s A List. The studio is currently working on residential projects in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. Additionally, the studio is working on a Four Seasons Resort in Puerto Rico as well as Maison de la Luz, a new distinctive guesthouse designed in collaboration with Atelier Ace in New Orleans opening early 2019.
