About This Rug
The colour for this rug is achieved by dipping the yarn sequentially into three different dyes. This creates a natural fluctuation of subtle colours.
Born in Preston, Gregory Parkinson established his career as a fashion designer in LA in the 1990s, and over the next 25 years earned an international reputation for his mood-enhancing colours and statement floral prints. In 2015, Parkinson pivoted away from ready-to-wear fashion and began channelling his passion for prints into a range of home textiles, handmade by artisans in Calcutta using techniques such as Indian block printing, but always with the same love of colour that characterises a Parkinson design.
