Black & Blue

Based in Los Angeles, Gregory Evans is a textile designer and printmaker with a background in set design for opera and ballet. His hand-printed fabrics are often characterised by repeating freehand geometric patterns such as dots, dashes and crosses – ‘fundamental human marks that have been with us since the beginning of time.’ Evans has attributed his love of colour to David Hockney, for whom he has been model, muse and manager for many years.
