Tradition meets Modernity: Bauhaus Movement at Design House Korea

In the heart of Seoul, we see our Gunta Stölzl and Anni and Josef Albers CF Editions rugs appear at the renowned Design House Korea in their  presentation of the Bauhaus Movement: Tradition meets Modernity. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the history and philosophy of the Bauhaus and celebrates the combination of tradition and modernity in design.

The exhibition includes Thonet furniture by Marcel Breuer, Mart Stam and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, from Tecnolumen, the Bauhaus lamp designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld, and Lars Mueller publishers with books on the history of the Bauhaus.

There will be various themes across the four month exhibition period, giving visitors the opportunity to see the Bauhaus pieces in different environments.
