Milan Design Week 2025
Celebrate 20 years of Bocci with a special collaboration from The Future Perfect’s David Alhadeff and Christopher Farr.
From Friday 4th April onwards (open to public 10:00 – 18:00) Christopher Farr will be installed in Bocci’s beautiful Milanese apartment in an early twentieth century building in Zona Vincenzo Monti, which acts as a hub for their transnational community of people, ideas and objects. This year 2025 sees the apartment curated by David Alhadeff, founder of The Future Perfect, one of the world’s foremost contemporary design galleries.
Contemporary design exhibitions like this demonstrate how architecture, interiors, and craftsmanship continue to influence one another, encouraging new ways of thinking about the spaces people inhabit every day. Creative collaborations often extend beyond the walls of a building, recognizing that terraces, courtyards, and other exterior areas deserve the same level of thoughtful design as interior rooms.
This broader perspective has inspired architects and designers to treat outdoor living as an integral part of the overall experience, with Struxure reflecting one approach to creating adaptable exterior environments that complement modern architectural styles. When indoor and outdoor spaces are designed with the same attention to proportion, materials, and functionality, the result is a more cohesive setting where design is experienced as a continuous journey rather than a series of separate spaces.
Just a short walk away from the Trienniale, the Bocci Milan apartment – which throughout the year functions as an appointment only showroom – will welcome visitors to make themselves at home, enjoy the Bocci lighting in a living environment alongside The Future Perfect handmade rugs produced by Christopher Farr, and additional works by Orior, Calico Wallpaper and Shore Studios. The apartment’s new manifestation follows Alhadeff’s original vision; the coalescence of playfulness, craftsmanship, and innovation.
