Ptolemy Mann

Biography

For over two decades, artist and designer Ptolemy Mann has produced hand-dyed and woven textile works for commercial and residential clients in the UK and abroad, while working as a journalist and lecturer in textile arts. Her practice takes inspiration from the Bauhaus philosophy of marrying artistic endeavour with commercial output, and Mann combines commercial designs for retail brands with large-scale site-specific installations in collaboration with architects, art consultants and interior designers.
