Vanessa Bell: A World of Form and Colour

Vanessa Bell: A World of Form and Colour

From 26th March until 21st September 2025, at Charleston in Lewes, East Sussex – not far from the country retreat of the Bloomsbury Group, Charleston House – step into the world of Vanessa Bell, a groundbreaking artist and key figure in 20th-century British art, whose creativity spanned multiple disciplines. This landmark exhibition, the largest ever dedicated to Bell, brings her practice into focus, affirming her as a radical pioneer of modernism in her own right.

With over 100 pieces on display, explore the full breadth of Bell’s artistic legacy: from her vibrant paintings to her revolutionary textiles, furniture designs, ceramics, and book covers.

At Charleston Lewes Gallery Shop (and also Charleston House) CF Editions rugs are available for sale, a number of designs, all produced from original Omega Workshops artworks.

Open alongside is the first UK institutional exhibition of contemporary artist Koak, presenting new works inspired by and responding to Vanessa Bell.
