Swimming Pools at PENSIÓN, Mexico City

Swimming Pools, Rafael Prieto’s inaugural collection with Christopher Farr, is seen throughout PENSIÓN. The intimate guest house—situated in the heart of Roma Norte, Mexico City—is designed as part of the philosophy of Casa Bosques.

SHOP THE COLLECTION

PENSIÓN is a ten-room guesthouse conceived as a home shaped by its neighbourhood and its rhythms. Created by SAVVY as part of the philosophy of Casa Bosques, it sits above the Casa Bosques Bookstore and Chocolate Atelier, drawing from travel, art, food, and design through a collected, intuitive approach to hospitality.

Set within two former family homes, the house preserves its character through Juliet windows and garden patios. Each room is shaped by thematic wallpapers, custom rugs, furniture, and carefully assembled objects – designed to subtly reframe one’s perception of space, guided by the instinct of a collector rather than the logic of a hotel.

Like the name “Pension,” the guesthouse embraces understated elegance and rich storytelling through modest means, focusing on ten unique rooms. From the carpeted floors to the artist-made light fixtures, and large-scale wallpapers that transport you into a museum, a stay at Pensión is an immersion into the Casa Bosques visual lexicon.
