Established in DTLA's Arts District in 2013, Hammer and Spear is a multidisciplinary design studio with a focus on interior architecture and furniture design. Founded by husband and wife creatives, Scott Jarrell and Kristan Cunningham, the brand began as the couple left successful careers in design television to pursue their own personal endeavor: a showroom, representing a roster of American emerging talent as well as established international brands, alongside their studio practice, largely focused on high-end residential projects all over the globe. Their work, featured in LA Times, NY Times, and Architectural Digest, is celebrated for a moody, layered aesthetic, rooted in storytelling.
